Become a volunteer

If you would like to become a volunteer at Suffolk Rape Crisis then please do get in touch. Volunteers work on the helpline and/or also work on publicity, administration, and fundraising.

Our training is delivered by highly experienced Rape Crisis trainers. We ask for a commitment to work on the helpline for a minimum of one year once training has been completed.

If you can say “yes” to all the above skills and you can imagine using all of them and more to contribute to an organisation committed to supporting survivors of sexual violence throughout Suffolk then why not join our dedicated team as a member of our Board of Trustees. 

The board of Trustees will need skills and experience in the following areas:

· Financial management

  • Legal matters
  • Fundraising
  • Recruitment and personnel management
  • Marketing
  • Computers and information technology
  • Campaigning
  • Education and learning
