Online Groups @ SRC

As we move our services online, we are pleased to announce four new online services for survivors. Please find details below:

Community @ SRC

Facebook group for women and girls affected by sexual violence. An online safe space for survivors to seek support, resources and connections. SRC will post useful links and resources for survivors in these times of isolation and encourage users to create an empowering online support network together. This group will be moderated by SRC staff to ensure it is safe and confidential for survivors. Please visit out Facebook Page Suffolk RapeCrisis for details, or search Community @ SRC. Women’s Book Group

Join us each month as we discuss our latest book choice. All women welcome for a relaxed and fun chat. If you haven’t picked up a book for years or if you are an avid reader, this group is for you!

Our book choices will be a mixture of much-needed escapism and page-turners where women are centred.

Sign up to the group and we can send you a free kindle/audible version of the book each month.

This month’s book:

Pulp by Robin Talley-  Told in dual narratives, New York Times bestselling author Robin Talley weaves together the lives of two young women connected across generations through the power of words. A stunning story of bravery, love, how far we’ve come, and how much farther we have to go.

Hosted by a SRC staff member, this relaxed and informal coffee morning is the perfect chance to regain some normality during this difficult time and seek some solidarity with other survivors. A chance to socialise, and check in with others while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. Don’t forget the biscuits! Please find the terms and conditions of the group here.
